About this Trip
Beach, fine wine, fish tacos, California weather - literally there is not a better combination of relaxing and fun activities to enjoy while getting to know and bond with your new classmates. Work hard, play hard? No - just play, imbibe, and enjoy life easily. Let the sun bathe you and the wine soothe you. If you want to drink Merlot, you can drink Merlot. If you want to sleep in, your bed is your oyster. This trip is about creating fond memories and getting to know a great group of your fellow Sloanies. We are excited to meet you!
8/30: Fly into LA, bus to Santa Barbara, group dinner at house. Beer Olympics!
8/31: Late breakfast at the house, chauffeured tour of Santa Barbara Wine Country, nap/relax, dinner in Santa Barbara city followed by evening out.
9/1: Sleep in. Beach day and/or urban wine tasting. Taco dinner Sunday night at the house.
9/2: Brunch by the beach. Being sad that your time is ending, but then realizing you have an amazing two years ahead of you with your new best friends. Bus and flights back to your new home - Cambridge.
8/29: Not included in fixed price: Fly into LA the evening of the 29th and have a night in L.A. Please note if you choose this option, all flights must be AFTER orientation ends.
